What is a 99215 at the eye clinic?

I went to the Dr’s office and I overheard someone mention a 99215. What is that?

A 99215 is the clinical code for Red Eye. This is the code they use to bill the insurance company. The Dr’s have a long list of codes they use. As they diagnose symptoms, they mark them then bill for the appropriate condition.
